Spanning adaptive robotics, applied AI, and deep tech, 51 Italian startups are redefining the concept of technological “Made in Italy” in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS – It is no longer just a showcase, but a declaration of intent. The Italian presence at CES2026 marks a decisive shift in the narrative of Italian innovation. At the Eureka Park pavilion, coordinated by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), Italy brings 51 startups moving away from the stereotype of the “good artisanal idea” to embrace scalable solutions based on deep tech, AI, and software-defined platforms.

With the slogan “Inspired by legacy, designed by vision,” this year’s Italian mission aims to demonstrate how the country’s manufacturing heritage is evolving into a competitive advantage for Industry 4.0 and the smart economy.

Strategic Verticals: When AI Meets Manufacturing

While artificial intelligence is the common thread of the entire CES 2026, Italian startups stand out for their pragmatic application of the technology. Not generative AI for its own sake, but algorithms at the service of physics and mechanics.

This is the case with companies like Agade, presenting Agadexo Lowback, a semi-active exoskeleton that doesn’t merely support weight: it “reads” the operator’s movements in real-time, adapting assistance to prevent injuries and maximize productivity. Or AdapTronics, which brings its variable stiffness gripping technology: a solution capable of manipulating fragile objects on Earth or space debris in orbit with equal effectiveness, demonstrating how Italian robotics is aiming to solve complex problems in logistics and space sustainability.

Smart City and Data Management

Another pillar of the delegation concerns the intelligent management of territory and resources. The solutions presented range from Agri-biotech for climate resilience to connected infrastructures. Aida Innovazione, for example, proposes a platform that aggregates heterogeneous data to transform them into actionable insights, taking the Smart City concept beyond simple sensors toward a predictive and integrated management of urban services and waste.

Lifestyle and Automotive: Excellence in User Experience

The link to high-end consumer tech is also present. In the audio sector, Volumio confirms itself as a player capable of combining precision hardware with a software ecosystem (like the CORRD app) that addresses the fragmentation of streaming services, offering a unified, high-fidelity listening experience.

On the automotive front, the Italian presence extends to the West Hall. Alongside icons like the autonomous 500e (the fruit of research from the Politecnico di Milano), companies like Eldor show how components are evolving towards advanced electrification, with solutions ranging from ECU units to high-power charging sockets, essential for the sector’s green transition.

A Transforming Ecosystem

What emerges from the corridors of CES 2026 is an Italian ecosystem that has moved past its adolescence. The startups present are not just seeking visibility, but industrial partners and global investors. The variety of sectors—from Cybersecurity (focusing on quantum and privacy) to Fintech, up to the Space Economy—testifies to a healthy diversification.

Italy in Las Vegas is no longer selling just “style,” but engineering competence applied to global challenges: energy transition, digital health, and intelligent automation. A vision that promises to transform “Made in Italy” from an origin label into a synonym for advanced technological innovation.

List of Italian Companies and Startups Present

The Italian delegation at CES 2026, coordinated by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and hosted in the Eureka Park area, counts 51 innovative startups representing the technological heart of “Made in Italy.” These are joined by more structured companies present in other pavilions (such as Eldor in the West Hall).
